How to refuse an invitation?

Life is full of several stages and some events are celebrated in our personal life and business field also. A person receives invitation from various events some are related to the work and some are related to family. Most of the times, it is seen that a person refuse the invitation of busy schedule.


Following are some points that can be help full while refusing the invitation request:

• You should understand the reason that why the person is inviting you. The invitation can be given by your friend or by boss of your job
• Try to weight the significant of the event
• If you are not sure that you will be able to attend the event, say in response that you will give final answer after checking your schedule
• Always show honesty while responding to invitation. If you can not attend you can say "NO"
• If you have more than on events on the same day then choose that one which have importance in your life
• If you really do not want to go then you can make any excuse

I know it is difficult to refuse invitation requests. But sometimes it is mandatory to do it because you have no other choice.

I want to ask you that:

• Have you ever been in the situation when you receive more than one invitation for same day?
• If  YES, then to which one you have given importance SOCIAL or WORK related?
